Surviving on Lockdown

Life as we knew it has drastically shifted. The world past our doors is a blur of its former glory. We are now stuck within the boundaries of our homes, forced to adapt to a new normal. The days run together, marked by the pattern of online meetings, streaming media, and eating. We long for the simple joys that were once assumed for granted: a walk in the park, a coffee with friends, or even just a talk without a screen amidst us.

This new world has created challenges, but it has also revealed unexpected capacities within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more compassionate, more resourceful, and more appreciative for the mundane things in life. As we navigate this unknown territory, we must keep hopeful that brighter days are ahead.

Six Feet From Freedom

Life behind bars is a harsh reality. Every day, you face limitations that feel like an unbreakable chain. The world outside seems so close, yet it's separated by just that symbolic distance of six feet.

Sometimes, the weight of those bars feels insurmountable. You long freedom with every fiber of your being. Every sunrise serves as a constant echo that you're confined.

But even in the darkest moments, there's a flicker of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be released. That day might seem distant, but it's a dream worth holding onto.

Chains of Liberty

The allure of freedom can be a powerful force. Yet, paradoxically, it can also lead to imprisonment. This occurs when the very notion with freedom becomes manipulated, transforming into a tool for control and domination.

Genuine freedom requires not only the absence for external constraints but also the cultivation of internal spirit. When this inner core is lacking, even within a society that celebrates freedom, individuals can find themselves bound within the limitations of their own minds.

Consequently, the true measure of freedom lies in our ability to break free the constraints that limit our potential, both externally and internally.
